July is here, and with it two new “Special Edition” Pengis. What are special edition pengis?!
Well the goal is, each month to release two new pengis that can only be bought during that month. The two pengis by themselves have various special traits, some pass, some do not, some pass alternative special traits. However, if you get both, there is a chance to breed out new feet and beak traits.
Feet and beak traits are only introduced on special edition pengis, they can pass, and if you get a full tree of pengis with both traits, you have the chance of unlocking a new feet or beak trait (depending on the lineage).
Feet and beak traits once they are unlocked can pass.
Please note, pengis have hidden genes, so just because a certain trait doesn’t appear to pass, it may pass in a hidden gene and reveal in an offspring. This is true for any traits except beak and feet unlocks. An unlocked trait will always be shown.
So, July.. we have an astronomy theme, the pengis are “I’m a Star!” and “Twinkle”. There is a new task station available, The “Telescope” (new task stations introduced will be available indefinitly, not limited to the month they come out.)
I’m a Star!
All traits pass except the down. A new down trait can pass instead (or a starter down).
Twinkle
All traits pass except the feathers and the tail. A new feather and tail trait can pass (or a starter).
Telescope Task Station
Has a snow toggle, LI is 2. Tasks are Star Gazing and Comet Watching.
